Privacy Notice
Last updated: 30 June 2026
This privacy notice explains how Bridge Thinking Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit www.bridgethinking.com or contact us.
Who we are
Bridge Thinking Ltd is a UK-based consultancy specialising in member experience (MX) research. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.
Registered address: 7 Bell Yard, London, WC2A 2JR
Contact: enquiries@bridgethinking.com
What personal data we collect
When you use our "Get in touch" contact form, we collect whatever information you choose to provide, which may include your name, email address, organisation, and the content of your message.
We also use Squarespace, the platform that hosts our website, which automatically collects limited technical and usage data via cookies — including pages visited, time on site, referral source, approximate location, and device/browser information — to help us understand how visitors use the site.
How we use your data
We use contact form submissions to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss our services with you. We use Squarespace analytics data in aggregate to understand site performance and visitor behaviour; this data is not used to identify you personally.
Our legal basis for processing
We process contact form data on the basis of legitimate interests, namely responding to enquiries from people who have proactively contacted us, and, where you become a client, to take steps towards entering into a contract. We process analytics cookie data on the basis of your consent, given via our cookie banner, except for cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function.
Who we share your data with
Your data is processed by Squarespace, Inc., our website hosting provider, which stores data on servers located in the United States. Squarespace processes this data under its own privacy and cookie policies, with appropriate safeguards in place for international transfers (Standard Contractual Clauses). We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
How long we keep your data
We retain contact form enquiries for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and maintain a record of business correspondence, typically no longer than 24 months unless a longer period is required for legal or contractual reasons. Analytics data is retained according to Squarespace's standard retention periods.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies via Squarespace, including cookies necessary for the site to function and non-essential analytics cookies used to understand visitor behaviour. You can manage your cookie preferences via the cookie banner shown when you first visit the site.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data; to object to or restrict our processing of it; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at enquiries@bridgethinking.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe your data has been mishandled.
Changes to this notice
We may update this privacy notice from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
